NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
Open only to legal residents of the United States or Canada (excluding Quebec), who are 21 years or older as of date of entry. Employees, officers and directors and their immediate families (defined as one's parent, spouse, children, siblings and the spouses of one's children and siblings) of Wrangler, VF Jeanswear Limited Partnership, VF Corporation, Justin Brands Inc., Methodfuel, Inc., their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, Academy of Country Music, retailers of Wrangler( clothing and Justin( boots, and other entities involved in the creation, development or implementation of this Sweepstakes are not eligible. Void in Puerto Rico, Quebec and where prohibited by law.
1. TO ENTER: Sweepstakes begins 2/1/2009 and ends 3/1/2009 ("Sweepstakes Period"). (A) In-Store Entry. Go to one or more of these participating retailers of Wrangler® clothing and Justin® boots (Drysdales, Cavender's, and Academy) to obtain an entry form from the take-one tearpad. Complete the official entry form and deposit it in the specially marked entry box (also in-store) during Sweepstakes Period. If supply of entry forms is exhausted at a participating retailer's store location, you may instead enter by handprinting your name, residential address, gender, date of birth, daytime and evening telephone numbers, e-mail address and the name of the applicable participating retailer on a 3"x5" card/paper and depositing same in entry box in participating retailer's store. If entry is not deposited in the appropriate retailer's entry box (i.e., entry is deposited in the "wrong" retailer's entry box), it will be disqualified. All in-store entries must be received by close of business on 3/1/2009. You will be entered in the random drawing only for the retailer in whose store location you deposited your entry. (B) On-Line Entry. During the Sweepstakes Period (i.e., from 12:01 a.m. ET on 2/1/2009 to 11:59 p.m. ET on 3/1/2009), access the on-line entry form by (i) going to www.wrangler.com or www.justinboots.com, clicking on the Wrangler/Justin Boots "Academy of Country Music Awards" Sweepstakes banner and then clicking on the name/logo button of a participating retailer (that is, the retailers listed in Section 1A above as well as Boot Barn)*; (ii) go to www.acmcountry.com and click on the Wrangler/Justin Boots "Academy of Country Music Awards" Sweepstakes banner; (iii) click on the Wrangler/Justin Boots "Academy of Country Music Awards" Sweepstakes hypertext link in the e-mail message sent to persons who previously opted in to receive e-mails from Wrangler, a division of VF Jeanswear Limited Partnership, or Justin Brands Inc.; (iv) click on the Wrangler/Justin Boots "Academy of Country Music Awards" Sweepstakes banner on any of the four (4) participating retailers' web sites. If on-line entry form is accessed other than via retailer web site [i.e., other than (iv)], you must select a participating retailer's name/logo when accessing the on-line entry form. Then, to enter on-line, complete and submit the entry form. You will be entered in the random drawing only for the retailer you selected when accessing the entry form or from whose web site you accessed the entry form. All on-line entries must be received by 3/1/2009 at 11:59 p.m. ET. *{For Boot Barn, persons may only enter on-line. Entries will NOT be accepted at Boot Barn store locations.} Entry Limitations (for In-Store & On-line Entry): Information required on the entry form consists of: your name, residential address, gender, date of birth, daytime and evening telephone numbers and e-mail address. You must have a valid e-mail address to participate in the Sweepstakes. You will also be asked whether you wish to opt-in to receive e-mails from Wrangler, a division of VF Jeanswear Limited Partnership, Justin Brands Inc., Academy of Country Music, and/or the applicable participating retailer as well as several marketing questions. You are NOT required to opt-in to receive e-mails from either Sponsor, Academy of Country Music and/or from a participating retailer or to answer any marketing questions to be eligible to enter the Sweepstakes and your decision whether or not to do so will NOT affect your chances of winning. Limit: one entry (of any kind) per person/e-mail address per retailer's drawing. Any person who attempts to participate with multiple e-mail and/or street addresses, under multiple identities or uses any device or artifice to enter multiple times in violation of the above entry limitation or who otherwise violates these Official Rules will be disqualified. No form of entry other than as specified herein will be accepted. In case of dispute, on-line entries will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. No responsibility is assumed by VF Jeanswear Limited Partnership or Justin Brands Inc. ("Sponsors") for lost, late, stolen, damaged, incomplete, misdirected, illegible entries/e-mail; or for any computer, telephone, satellite, cable, network, electronic or Internet hardware or software malfunctions/failures; or for garbled, jumbled or corrupt transmissions; or for other technical error of any kind.
2. DRAWINGS. Winners will be selected via random drawing on or about 3/11/2009. There will be a separate random drawing for each of the four (4) participating retailers of Wrangler® clothing and Justin® boots. A given retailer's drawing will consist of all eligible entries received at that retailer's store locations (if applicable; see Section 1 above) and/or all eligible on-line entries received from persons who selected that retailer when accessing the entry form on-line (or from whose website the on-line entry form was accessed). Entries from a retailer's drawing will NOT be retained for other retailers' drawings. All drawings will be conducted by Methodfuel, Inc., an independent judging organization, at its offices at 215 East Lewis Street, Greensboro, NC USA 27406. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received for a given retailer's drawing.
3. PRIZES. Grand (5 in total, 1 for Drysdales, 2 for Cavender's, 1 for Academy, 1 for Boot Barn): 3 night trip for 2 to attend the 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas, Nevada on 4/5/2009. Each trip will consist of roundtrip coach air travel from major commercial airport nearest winner's residence (unless winner resides within approximately 150 miles of Las Vegas, as determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion, in which case ground transportation will be provided instead of air travel and winner will not receive any compensation in conjunction with such substitution); 3-nights standard hotel accommodations (double occupancy); 2 tickets to the 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards show; 2 tickets to the 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards' All-Star Jam show; 2 tickets to the Artist of the Decade show honoring George Strait on 4/6/2009; ground transportation between Las Vegas airport and hotel; 2 pairs of Justin® boots (non-exotic only); 3 pairs of Wrangler® jeans; 3 Wrangler® shirts; country music CD's. Trip is subject to availability and certain other restrictions apply. Winner and guest must travel on same itinerary (as set by Sponsors, in their sole discretion). Expenses and incidentals not mentioned herein are winner's sole responsibility. Government-issued documentation (if winner is a Canadian resident, such documentation may include passport) is required for travel. Winner must take trip at dates/times of Sponsors' sole choosing so as to attend the 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards on 4/5 - 6/2009; if winner is unable to travel at such dates/times, prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected (from among all remaining eligible entries received for the appropriate retailer's drawing). Approximate Retail Value of prize: $6,000 US. Total Approximate Retail Value of all prizes: $30,000 US.
4. WINNER NOTIFICATION. Potential winners will be notified by phone and/or mail approximately (2) days after drawing and will be required to complete, sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability/Publicity Release within (2) days of notification date. Failure of potential winner to comply with this requirement or if prize notification is returned as undeliverable will result in disqualification with an alternate winner being selected. If a Canadian resident is selected in a drawing, to win the prize, he/she must also correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, a mathematical skill-testing question within a given time limit. Guest accompanying each winner must be 18 or over and will also be required to complete, sign and return a Liability/Publicity Release prior to issuance of travel documents. Limit one prize per person/household/address/e-mail address. No prize substitutions allowed except by Sponsors which reserve the right to substitute a prize (or prize component) of equal or greater value if advertised prize/prize component becomes unavailable for any reason. Prizes are non-transferable. All applicable taxes are the sole responsibility of winner. By participating, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules as well as the decisions of Sponsors and the judges, which are final and binding in all respects. By accepting prize, winner consents to the use of his/her name, photograph, likeness, voice and other indicia of identity for advertising/trade/publicity purposes in connection with this Sweepstakes or other promotions that may be offered by Sponsors without additional compensation or notice, except where prohibited by law. By participating, entrant releases and agrees to hold harmless Wrangler, VF Jeanswear Limited Partnership, VF Corporation, Justin Brands Inc., Methodfuel, Inc., Academy of Country Music, participating retailers, their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, agents and employees from any and all liability arising, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt, possession, acceptance, or use/misuse of any prize.
5. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY. Sponsors are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by web site users, tampering, hacking, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes. Sponsors reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to disqualify any individual they find, in their sole discretion, to be tampering with the Sweepstakes or any web site, to be in violation of the Privacy Policy or Terms of www.wrangler.com, or to be in violation of the Official Rules. Any use of robotic, automatic, macro, programmed or like on-line entry methods will void all such entries by such methods, and result in disqualification of any entrant using such methods. Sponsors are not responsible for injury or damage to participants' or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in this Sweepstakes or downloading materials from or use of any web site. If, for any reason, the on-line component of the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned by reason of, but not limited to, infection by computer virus, worms, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which Sponsors, in their sole opinion, deem could corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the on-line component of the Sweepstakes, Sponsors reserve the right at their sole discretion to cancel, modify or suspend the on-line component of the Sweepstakes and select the winner(s) for affected retailer's drawing(s) from all eligible in-store entries received (if applicable; see Section 1 above) and/or all eligible on-line entries received for such affected retailer's drawing(s) prior to and/or after (as appropriate) the action taken by Sponsors. In such event, notice will be posted at www.wrangler.com.
6. WINNERS LIST. For names of winners, available after 4/15/2009, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to Wrangler/Justin Boots "Academy of Country Music Awards" Sweepstakes, 215 East Lewis Street, Greensboro, NC, 27406, for receipt by 5/1/2009. Canadian residents only may omit return postage.
