Will Lowe

Will Lowe is a 3-time world champion bareback rider who joined the PRCA in 2001. Will: "The guys who hold the top records, they're the legends. I'm just blessed to have three of them (world titles). Of course I'd like to (tie or break the record), and that'd be a goal, but just one is phenomenal." In 2007, Will ranked second in world standings. Highlights over the last 5 years include:

2008 - Won the Star of Texas Fair & Rodeo (Austin); Won the Southeastern Livestock Expo Rodeo (Montgomery, Ala.); Won the Rodeo de Santa Fe (N.M.); Won the Buffalo Bill Rodeo (North Platte, Neb.); Won the Santa Maria (Calif.) Elks Club Rodeo; Won the Eagle County (Colo.) Fair & Rodeo; Won the Strawberry Days Rodeo (Pleasant Grove, Utah); Won the Gooding (Idaho) Pro Rodeo; Co-champion at the Flagstaff (Ariz.) Pine Country Pro Rodeo; Co-champion at the Sonora (Texas) Outlaw Pro Rodeo.

2007 - Won Rounds 5, 9 and 10 at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo on his way to winning the average title with a record 846 points on 10 head; His 91.5 points on Mosbrucker's Magic Wars in Round 10 tied the Wrangler NFR record set earlier in the 2007 NF. Won the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo; the Dodge City Roundup and the Lea County Fair & Rodeo (Lovington, N.M.). Co-champion at the Arcadia All-Florida Championship and at the Snake River Stampede.

2006 - Won his third world title in a single-season earnings record in bareback riding with $280,227, set a bareback riding NFR earnings record with $128,302, and won the average title with a total score of 821.5 points on 10 head. Placed in nine out of 10 rounds, winning the third round with a score of 85 points, the fourth round with an 84.5 and tied for the win in the fifth round with an 87. Finished the year as the regular-season leader with $151,924 setting a new earnings record prior to the Wrangler NFR in bareback riding. Won the Wrangler ProRodeo Tour Championship, his sixth Tour Finale title. Won the average title at the Pendleton Round-Up. Tied for the Wrangler ProRodeo Tour Round win en route to the average title at the Caldwell Night Rodeo. Cochampion at the Snake River Stampede. Won the average title at the Reno Rodeo. Co-champion at the Gladewater Round-Up Rodeo. Won the Old Fort Days Rodeo; Payson Spring Rodeo and the National Western Stock Show and Rodeo. Won the Wrangler ProRodeo Tour Round at the Laughlin River Stampede.

2005 - Won his second world title with $185,486 in earnings. Placed in six out of 10 rounds at the Wrangler NFR en route to his world title; won the Pace Picante ProRodeo Challenge, making him the first contestant in PRCA history to win five Pace Series titles; won the Magic Valley Stampede, the Norco (Calif.) Mounted Posse Rodeo, the Farm-City Pro Rodeo, the That Famous Preston Night Rodeo, the Heart of North Rodeo , the Ponoka Stampede, the Beef Empire Days PRCA Rodeo City, the Livermore Rodeo, the Wrangler ProRodeo Tour Round and average titles at the Clovis Rodeo; was co-champion at the Cowboy Capital of the World Pro Rodeo and at the YMBL Championship Rodeo.

2004 - Finished as the world champion runner-up with $179,906; Won Tour and average titles at La Fiesta de los Vaqueros and set new arena record with an 89-point ride on Beutler & Son's Commotion; won Tour round title at RodeoHouston; won Clovis (Calif.) Rodeo, Mineral Wells PRCA Rodeo, Will Rogers Stampede, Farm-City Pro Rodeo. Finished second at the Pace Chute-out; co-champion at Sheridan Rodeo; won the Pace Picante ProRodeo Classic with an 89-point ride aboard Stace Smith Pro Rodeo's RD Mercer; placed in four out of 10 rounds at the Wrangler NFR, winning Round 4 with a 90.5-point ride aboard Andrews Rodeo's Roly Poly. Finished ninth in Wrangler NFR average, picking up $36,785; won the average title at the Texas Circuit Finals and qualified for his first DNCFR.

2003 - World champion and set a record for most money won in a year in the bareback riding with $188,247. Became the first contestant to win all three Pace Series events (Pace Picante ProRodeo Chute-out in Las Vegas; Pace Picante ProRodeo Challenge in Omaha; and Pace Classic in Dallas; won Pace Picante ProRodeo Challenge and tied the world record with a 94-point ride on Kesler Rodeo's Sky Reach; won RodeoHouston, Calgary Stampede, Puyallup Rodeo and Heart O' Texas Fair & Rodeo (Waco).
