Bobby Mote is a two time world champion bareback rider. Bobby: "People don't understand that being a world champion is more than how many dollars are in your column at the end of the year. It's so much more than that. You start out with a bunch of guys in the game and go all year long and see a little bit of everything, and to be the last guy standing is really something. 2007 - Won Round 4 and shared title in Round 8 of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. Broke Will Lowe's event record for regular-season earnings with $152,184; became the 70th man to surpass $1 million in career earnings. Won RodeoHouston Shootout Round; the Dodge Columbia River Circuit Finals; the SandHills Stock Show and Rodeo; the Crooked River Roundup; the Eugene (Ore.) Pro Rodeo; the Santiam Canyon Stampede; and the IPE & Stampede; Founders Day Rodeo; at the West of the Pecos Rodeo at the Snake River Stampede and at the Strathmore Stampede
2006 - Placed in eight out of 10 rounds at the Wrangler NFR, winning the seventh round with a score of 84.5 points and tied for the win in 10th round with a score of 85.5 points. Won the Wild Rouge Pro Rodeo; the Northwest Montana Fair & Rodeo; the Crooked River Roundup ; the Sisters Rodeo; the Klamath Falls Great Northwest Pro Rodeo; the Auburn Wild West Stampede; the Wrangler ProRodeo Tour Round at the Red Bluff Round-Up; the Grand National Rodeo and the SW District Livestock Show & Rodeo. Co-champion at the NILE Pro Rodeo
2005 - Won the all-around title at the Othello Rodeo; won the bareback riding title at the Sikeston Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo, the Thunder Mountain ProRodeo ; the Chief Joseph Days Rodeo ; the Cheney Rodeo, the Sisters Rodeo, the Salem Rodeo, the Eastern Oregon Livestock Show and Rodeo; the Auburn Wild West Stampede; the Wrangler ProRodeo Tour Round and average titles at San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo; Co-champion at the Founders Day Rodeo and the Silver Spur Rodeo. Finished the year ranked 12th in the world with $114,069
2004 - Finished ninth in the world standings with $118,901 and was fifth in the Wrangler. Won the Buc Days ProRodeo and Ponoka Stampede; semifinalist at Pace Picante ProRodeo Chute-out; won Tour round and average titles at the Puyallup Rodeo; finished fourth at the Pace Picante ProRodeo Challenge and Pace Picante ProRodeo Classic
2003 - Won the National Western Stock Show & Rodeo and Clackamas County Fair & Rodeo; was co-champion in Round 4 with an 88.5-point ride on Bar T Rodeo's Calamity Jane at the Wrangler NFR; broke his collarbone and dislocated his shoulder at Rodeo Houston and missed most of the spring and early summer; finished ninth in the world standings with $103,802
